Apologies for the delay in this post. Bader Park is an event that happened almost a month ago but things have been incredibly busy around here. I’m still recovering from my medical event, and recovery is slow but going well.
Bader Park attendance was low this year, due to many different factors. The oppressive heat this summer has slowed a lot of us up. Many missed the event due to a variety of reasons, but those who attended looked like they had a lot of fun. Hopefully, those of us who missed this year’s event can be at next year’s.
For future events at Bader Park, volunteers to help run it are needed. If you are interested in helping, contact the Central Nebraska Amateur Radio Club via their website to express your interest.
Special shout out to Mark WØHQE for making it to Bader Park after spending a couple of tiring weeks in Texas helping after the flood. We appreciate your efforts supporting the radio community no matter where you are.
Thanks to Kevin KØKDC for sending in some pictures in from Bader Park.
